This listing is for Sleeping Beauty turquoise, which comes from the Southwestern part of the United States in Arizona. The stone got its name due to the mountain that it is mined resembling the shape of a woman laying on her back with her arms crossed. This beautiful turquoise is highly sought after due to its pure sky-blue color, which shows little to no veining or webbing.
Small amounts of the stone are still being collected from this same mine in Arizona to this day.
